The 2025 harvest is in — and it's a good one

The crocus fields of Pampore bloom for barely three weeks each autumn, and this November they did not disappoint. Our family picked from dawn until late morning every day of the season, separating the crimson stigmas from the petals the same afternoon — the way it has always been done.

This year's Mongra grade is something special. A dry October meant fewer flowers, but the threads we did harvest are deeper in colour and stronger in aroma than we've seen in years. In saffron, quality always wins over quantity.

The harvest is dried, rested, and now packed in airtight jars. Once a batch is gone, it's gone — the next harvest arrives in October 2026.

If you've been waiting to try true GI-tagged Kashmir saffron, this is the batch to try.
